Youth Mentors

On July 23, 2009 Adam Robinson from Youth Aeronautics Program and Anna Brown, Pilot, volunteered to speak to middle school youth at Quarterpath Rec. Center. They spoke about education, aviation and career goals. The program was hosted by Human Services.

Poetry Can Be Fun

On July 13 & 14th Samuel Billings, local spoken word poet and Founder of YAEF, volunteered to conduct a poetry workshop with students from Toano and Berkeley Middle schools. Students wrote poems and had fun recording them on CDs.
